Task Four – Analyse the track

The meaning of this is song is that there will  be all ways be a better day even if they leaved and to be honest so they wont leave.

The content of this video it is quite repetitive it uses a lot of the same words in it.

The imagery you could picture a video to this of a relationship coming together or breaking up.

Narrative there is not really a story because there isn't a music video to this music

Task Three – Analyse the artist

Performing style

The performers style is the way the performers will performing and acting in there performance this could be the way they dress or the way they are acting for example they could be just singing without moving or they could be jumping around and having fun.

Performing Image

The performing image is the way they dress in there performance or they way they dress to there fans so they fans could follow them and want to dress like they. There dress sense is very new and appealing to the audience.

Song Style

The song style is the performers style of how they want to sing but sometimes performers chance it some times and might do a slow song or a rock song. There style is very melo they use manly a guitar and just there voices no edits to there music.

Assignment brief 2: Task 2 - Choosing the track/gaining permission

The music track that I was looking for is a very specific type of genre of music because it has to show a range of different qualities within the song. The song has to be fairly unknown to the music industry so we can have a feel of how it would feel making a music video.

Also the song cannot be a rap song because where the artist generally speaks/sings really fast it will be virtually impossible to lip sync to the song tot the video. we also can not you and bad language in the video so every age can see the video we are all so not aloud to have any rude scenes because of the age groups.

We were looking on websites such as unsigned.com and youtube.com to find songs that aren't well known or signed because then it is easy to get permission to use there song.

When we find the that we wont to use you have to contact the group to ask if you can use there song. you can contact them by email, tweet or even try and contact there manager if they have one.

The song that we picked is Loveable Rogues- Honest we picked this song because it is a very easy beat to edit to and they are not singing to much so that we wouldn't be able to lip sink to it

Task One – Understanding copyright

Copyrighting is an important issue because the laws prevent people from 'stealing' people work, ideas or property. This also prevents sharing without permission and reposting music videos. This also prevents you from re-rising material that we do not have permission for and we don't have permission to make a new version of the music video.

A way of over coming the laws of copyrighting is if you give credit to the original version of the music video of the song. Or you could get permission from the artist by contacting them you could contact them by phone number, email or twitter. Once you have contacted them you can inform them of the problem you have and it will be there answer if you will have permission to use there music video.

Copyright was introduced in the UK in 1709. It came from a common concept called Statute of anne the law was passed into a statutory (required, permitted or enacted by stature) in law 1911 it was later emended in 1988 asa an act of parliament because the law was being amended more things came under the copyright laws. So people had to be more aware of what they did with other people’s music.

An example of celebrities breaching the copyright law is Jay z and kanye west
Copyright Infringement
R&B artist Syl Johnson alleges Watch the Throne track samples his 'Different Strokes' without permission

You can usually tell when music is protected by copyright because they will probably have evidence in a form writing saying what is it protected. And also if it is a picture or a music video it will have an r in a circle to show it is protected.
